Brown Consulting's Canberra office is currently seeking a Senior Water and Environment Engineer to lead our Water & Environment group, undertaking flood investigation and water sensitive urban design (WSUD) and storm water analysis.

Your role will have a strong focus on managing projects, developing clients and technical leadership, providing advice to project teams and overseeing the design of a broad range of engineering projects. As the Senior Water and Environment Engineer you will be instrumental in the development of conceptual designs, preparation of reports and master plans. You will work in partnership with our award winning Urban & Land Development group, servicing projects throughout ACT and surrounding areas.
 
To be successful in this role, you will: 

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) and eligibility for & CPEng status


• Minimum 6 years’ experience in water related projects and design.


• Demonstrate practical, sustainable, commercially viable and innovative solutions in your client service offerings


• Demonstrated leadership capability  in managing teams and deadlines


• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders

 You will be conversant with a range of Hydrological and Hydraulic software. Experience in 2D modelling will be advantageous.
