Alamanda is a 130ha, 1,500 residential lot, 18-stage masterplanned community. The development won the prestigious 2010 National UDIA Award – Residential Development of the Year (250+ lots) as well as the 2009 Best Residential Development (250+ lots) category. The community features multiple wetlands (totaling 5ha). The numerous viewing platforms and timber boardwalks and walking and cycling tracks enhance the environmental features of the development.

Alamanda also features a leisure centre and a Prep to Year 9 state school. In addition, the development complies with the Federal Government's National Broadband Network initiative. When complete, it’s estimated that Alamanda will be home to approximately 4,000 residents.
