Northbank Place is a unique development of residential, commercial, retail and arts/market style outlets. The revitalisation of what was an old car park into a modern precinct commenced in April 2007. The development is located opposite the Crown Casino, adjacent to Batman Park and facing Flinders Street. Northbank Place was completed in stages from November 2008 to May 2009 with the total value of the project in excess of $200 million.
