Tiverton Grange Estate, Victoria
Tiverton Grange Estate is a 44-lot residential estate on 3.67ha of land in Mooroolbark, Victoria. Situated in an established area, this estate can be classified as residential infill. Brown Consulting commenced with the provision of development advice to the client and followed with the provision of complete consultancy services incorporating town planning, land surveying, engineering and project management.
In the planning phase, issues included the removal of native vegetation, the treatment of an unnamed waterway, the provision of pedestrian access to existing approved developments to the north and the siting and design of allotments in order to best utilise the sites topography. The land survey team located the features and levels of the site including the location and Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) of trees on the site informing the planners to design a layout which responded to the site’s constraints. The engineering team then provided input into the road pavement widths and service requirements in order to ensure the layout provided for the retention of existing vegetation and the required tree protection zones nominated within the arborist report.
