The NSW Unit of Brown Consulting’s Roads and Traffic Division has now been operating for over 15 months.

The Unit has carried out some major traffic investigation and road improvement design projects in Sydney’s South West and North West Growth Centres, land developments in NSW Hunter Region and Penrith Lakes, as well as the NSW Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)’s Bus Network Development Section.

The Roads and Traffic Unit comprises of three disciplinary cells that seamlessly merge in day to day operation.

The Traffic and Transport cell is led by Charles Wiafe who has over 19 years of experience in RTA land use/ transport planning, traffic engineering and project management. Alongside Charles is Frank Coe who is leading Road Design and Safety cell. Frank has had over 20 years of experience in RTA design and project management. Pablo Aguilar, who has 10 years of experience in roads maintenance, project management and construction (including 3 years with the RTA Asset Management Unit) and Kevin Leehy, who has had over 10 years experience as an RTA Surveillance Officer plus 17 years road and civil construction experience, complement the team ensuring high standards of the construction projects delivery.

By combining this experience with our national resource pool that includes pavement engineers, road designers, civil designers, transport modellers, stormwater and bridge engineers, Brown Consulting is now able to offer a multitude of roads, pavements and traffic services to land developers, Local Councils and Government Authorities in NSW.
