Hail Creek Mining Camp Extension

The village was upgraded to cater for an increase in mine employees – from 697 beds to 1207 beds on site. Existing infrastructure was upgraded to cater for the new increase in residents.  The existing road to the immediate south of the village has been realigned to follow a more direct route, a new sealed ring access pathway has been constructed to assist in the movement of house-keeping services primarily, the existing car park was re-line marked and a bus set down area was constructed.  Services were upgraded as required to adequately service the new sections of the village.Brown Consulting was engaged to undertake the civil engineering component for the Development Approval Phase (MCU) as well as Detailed Design and Documentation to achieve Operational Works Approval.
