Brown Consulting (Aust) Pty Ltd was established in Melbourne, Victoria in 1953. Currently we have over 250 staff in offices in Brisbane, Canberra, Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney, Sunshine Coast and South-East Asia. In Victoria, the business trades under the brand name of Brown and Tomkinson, following the merger of Tomkinson and Brown Consulting in late 2009.

Service Diversification

When Brown Consulting started operations almost 50 years ago, the business' foundation was structural engineering. Over the years the business has diversified its engineering services, expanding to provide civil and environmental engineering as well as structural services. More recently, Brown Consulting has also diversified to provide complementary infrastructure services as such surveying and town planning.
