Brown Consulting (Aust) Pty Ltd was established in Melbourne, Victoria in 1953. Currently we have over 170 staff in offices in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Sunshine Coast and South-East Asia.

Brown is a Leader in developing and applying advanced technology. The firm recognised early the benefits of computer-aided design and drafting and has consistently maintained a technological edge. Hydracad, the firm’s software, was developed in our Canberra office. It revolutionised the design, analysis, drawing and documentation of land development. High standards of control and flexibility of design, together with unparalleled speed, accuracy and quality of documentation are achieved. Similar advanced software packages are used for all phases of our work.

The firm’s offices are equipped with compatible state-of-the-art networked hardware and software. The systems are used by highly experienced and continuously trained staff.
